Dr. Thomas Price has been an administrative leader in education for more than thirty-five years. Starting in the classroom as a teacher, he then moved into the role of principal and eventually superintendent.

He served as Superintendent in several districts including rural, urban, property wealthy and property poor districts. He served as the Superintendent of Boerne ISD until his retirement in 2023.  Boerne ISD is a fast growing, high-performing district 20 miles northwest of San Antonio, Texas.

Dr. Price has been twice named a Regional Superintendent and was a State Finalist for Superintendent of the Year.  Under Dr. Price’s leadership, three different districts were awarded the prestigious HEB Excellence in Education Award for the Best district in Texas.   

Overcoming poverty and his own learning obstacles early in his education, Dr. Price earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Houston, and his Master of Education and Doctorate of Education from Lamar University.

Preferring “Tommy” over Dr. Price, he uses his own personal story to inspire students to never give up. Tommy and Donna Price have three children, Christopher, Sean, and Savannah.
